Caliber 3235 and caliber 3132
One of the main reasons for choosing the 41mm Datejust over the 39mm Oyster Perpetual is underneath the sturdy steel case back. Powering the fake Rolex Datejust 41mm is the in-house Rolex caliber 3235, which beats at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour – a much longer power reserve of 70 hours when fully wound compared to the 48-hour power reserve of the caliber 3132 that powers the 39mm Rolex Oyster Perpetual.
However, here’s the good news! Rolex has introduced a number of new models, including larger versions such as the 41 mm Oyster Perpetual and a medium-sized version of the 36 mm Oyster Perpetual, both powered by a new, slightly different replica Rolex Manufacture caliber 3230. This new automatic movement has a longer power reserve (almost 3 days) of 70 hours, matching the Datejust 41 mm movement. For those who like and follow modern styles, they also have some new, more modern looking vibrant dial color in each collection, but none of them have a fluted bezel option.
At least twice a year, you will find another reason (albeit a practical and simple one) for choosing the 41mm model, and that is the clasp. The clasp on the Rolex replica watch has a special feature called the Easylink 5mm Comfort Extension Bracelet, which allows you to make small adjustments to the size of the bracelet without any tools to compensate for the way your wrist expands and contracts when exposed to changes in humidity and temperature. While this collection does have a date window, it does not have a date function. This is a feature in a completely different collection. You can read a review of one of these collections in one of our blog posts by clicking here.
On the other hand, the clasp on the Oyster Perpetual 39mm also allows for fine adjustments, but requires a tool to make these minor adjustments to the folding clasp.
Conclusion. Both replica watches have great features. the 39mm Oyster Perpetual costs about $2,300 less than the Datejust, but does not have the additional date window found on the Datejust 41mm, nor does it have the Easylink comfort extension bracelet found on the Datejust. The mechanical movement in the Rolex Datejust 41mm has a significantly longer power reserve of 70 hours, compared to 48 hours in the Oyster Perpetual 39mm.
